Mission hunting alien life on a distinct moon.

A spacecraft for Europa was blast-off from Florida on the hunt for signs of alien life. This Europa Clipper spacecraft will chase and overtake a european mission to arrive first.

Its destination is Europa, a deeply mysterious moon orbiting the distant planet Jupiter. It is located 628 million km from Earth, and just a bit bigger than our moon.

Its icy crust is more than 25 km thick, there could be a vast saltwater ocean. So, there is possiblity of simple life.

There wasn't any missions which got close enough to Europa for long enough to really understand it. Once Clipper approaches Europa in 2030 it will switch on its engines again to carefully manoeuvre itself in to the right orbit.

There is no chance to find human like creatures but because of the ocean there is possibility to find micro-organisms. Clipper's sole job is to establish whether the moon could support life in it's ocean or possibly in any pockets of water in the ice.
